@Rajakumar Burra we are planning to change "use as filter" coming next year to make it more author-controlled in respect to the actions following the user selection. The planned change is that the feature will allow you to keep the current behavior or replace it by placing the selected values into a parameter that you can…

Assuming we can prioritize the queries correctly (visible, active canvas, canvas viewport, etc.), not processing the currently hidden viz will impact the experience of the dashboard user, as the queries will only execute when the parameter is changed. You can take an approach using the same parameter to ensure that queries…

Sorry, I'm still not clear. You can change the colors of the individual values today; what else is required?

@Sreekumar_Analytics_Ambassador In your example, are you referring to the values of the Fiscal Year attribute? As these might be completely dynamic, we will unlikely allow the user to change those on the chart. You can create a My Calc that translates those to different labels. Regarding color assignment, what additional…

Hi @Rajakumar Burra, How are you using this feature? We planned to remove it as it is a different form of deselecting a value, but we decided to keep it around for now.

@Francis Defilippis If you want the consumers to have support contact details on the dashboard, why not just add it in? The owner might have no meaning in a real system, especially as content LCMs move from one system to the next or people who happened to create the original are no longer in the company. Therefore, doing…

Not sure I understand. What is the input and outcome, and how is it different from aggregate? Can you share an example?

OAC/OAS customers can define a user role that allows the creation of only specific types of assets (e.g., create workbooks but no connections). This is done using fine-grained permissions.

Thanks @Michal Zima, we will review the files.

This is a good summary of the concerns we are tackling regarding workbook load time. Some of it is planned for January 2025 (and OAS 2025), but when it comes to performance, we cannot make generic claims without analyzing the specific use cases. Additional improvements are currently being worked on, which will come in…

Is that an Idea or a question? As a question, there are no current plans as we have not encountered any demand that will justify the investment. In the future, please post questions on the Forum. If posted as an Idea, the community can vote and provide feedback.

Yes, measures are a bit more tricky. You can do it easily without the color (image 1), but if you want color, you need to use conditional formatting for the measure (image 2).

Same comment as you saw from Alan and myself around accessibility.

Being reviewed as a possible accessibility bug. Please report accessibility issues via an SR; in most cases, we do not consider those as ERs but as bugs. We emphasized to our support team not to send accessibility issues to the IdeaLab, so I hope the transition of the SR into a bug will be smooth. The team is reviewing…
