This is a great idea and I agree with Branden Pavol. Parameters would be technically possible but a lot of custom work for a common scenario

For example you used to be able to treat columns as attributes, but we would also need to be able to treat something defined as a 'attribute' as an 'measure'.

I would like to know who is voting against this feature, I am sure it is less than the people who need it. This seems like a basic requirement of any website in 2024, in our view this should be a 'just do it'.

This change would prevent the need for scheduled data flows (which Union's are challenging to deploy in). Being able to avoid redundant scheduled reports just to create a union would be of great value to our organization.
