This would allow us to have action links derive the environment. As of now, these are hard-coded to our production Url. Thus, when you use action link in test, it does not direct to the test environment.

I need to pull in condition detail and validation detail into a BIP report, but this data is stored as XMLTYPE and thus there is no way to report on these
-
Yes! Needed because cannot get a full picture of headcount gains and losses by type.
-
YES, I wholeheartedly agree. Or at least provide an option to export all rows.
-
This is sometimes the only way i'm able to figure out the sql logic for a certain attribute/measure that's delivered in a subject are to use in BIP. I will update my post with specific examples that would have been almost impossible to figure out on my own. This is also how we have been able to work through some SRs with…

Can an Oracle admin archive this please? User has moved content to the correct forum (idea lab)

I would think that this is something that can be easily implemented, as in fusion apps, this functionality works (ex: filters designated ** force one or more of these to be used. Why is this function not available in OTBI analysis/DB prompt creation?
-
I second this, but also allowing for "all" to be an option for a table prompt
-
This is an issue, not a system limitation/implementation suggestions for future upgrades, and thus should not have been posted in the Idea Lab section of customer connect. Should instead be posted in the "forums" section.

Here is a list of some common functions and whether the syntax differs between PL/SQL and other SQL types. http://troels.arvin.dk/db/rdbms/

I don't think starting query with "WITH" is the problem, as this is already a capability. Perhaps copy and pasting from big legacy prewritten queries is including SQL functions that have slightly different syntax and aren't compatible with PL/SQL. For example, the formula syntax to replace nulls with a certain value in…

On a related note, BIP Desktop for Word is not available for mac OS operating systems..
-
Or at least sort the members alphabetically for ease of looking for a certain one..

This only allows you to make that prompt required or not. There is no enabled functionality to make, out of say 3 prompts, to make the user to use at least one of these to run, but not require a selection for all of the 3 prompts. In fusion, this functionality is conveyed using a double asterisk (**), as opposed to a…

That's a helpful work-around (emphasis on the work-around lol). If you added/removed columns, you'd probably have to go add/remove those, or either create a new report every time you change your columns. Thanks, Henrihs!

Agreed, the 200 row limit is asinine. Users should be able to see all rows in edit data model mode, or at least have the option to export to excel all rows. As of now, you have to tediously create a BIP Report template.

I am not sure, as i am just a customer and do not work for Oracle.

Based on this slide from the 53 minute mark of the 2019 Analytics Summit (video posted on Oracle's facebook 6/25/19. Seems like a strange platform to do this on, but ok.) An Idea Lab for OAC/DV is "coming". In true Oracle fashion though, no timeframe is given.

There's going to be two delivered dashboard in 19c that looks like it could suit your needs - a "Security" DB and a "Roles" DB. If not the out of the box report, 19c is also coming with a new "Security - Roles & Privileges Real Time" subject area. URL for "What's New - Global HCM 19c" Oracle documentation. The pages…
