Any updates on this? This would also be necessary to use time intelligence functions in self service, since they need a date hierarchy.
-
I want to bump this since the forum seems to have been moved to a new environment and maybe someone has an answer for me!
-
One workaround I've found (not sure if this works for AGO): do a calculated column in DV classic analysis and copy the code. This usually resolves correctly.

If this is the issue I have ecnountered as well, this is an open enhancement request - my last information is that the issue is still with development. Here is the SR I found regarding this:…

There is also no way to "persist" calculations except doing so in a data flow or subject area. Not exactly the same, but issue adjacent I think. Apart from the subject area and the multi table dataset (which only can be populated from a database if I recall correctly), there is no way to really "persist" and reuse already…

I also created an idea for this, please vote there as well: https://community.oracle.com/customerconnect/discussion/580477/renaming-columns-attributes-measures-in-dv#latest

Add to 21.: also set the min / max set from variable, a fixed value is near useless for anything else than percentage values.

I also have submitted an idea for this, maybe you'd could vote there as well! https://community.oracle.com/customerconnect/discussion/580477/renaming-columns-attributes-measures-in-dv#latest

I'd like to push this since I'm currently working on ideas how to unify design etc. over all projects - right now, if you want eg. all your font to be arial or a different size and you have 10 existing projects with 5 tabs and 5 objects each, you're looking at individually manipulating possibly about 250 objects. In…

Hi Jacques, are there any updates to this topic? I'd also love to hear in which direction Oracle is planning to take data visualization vs. the "classic" dashboards etc. Thanks Nina
-
This would be extremely helpful to achieve a consistent look & feel. I'd expand that to "classic" analyses and dashboards as well, insofar as fonts, colors, sizes etc. are concerned.
-
I would add on to this and say that we'd need themes in general - customizable themes for DV and classic that control eg. - font, font size, color for different elements: titles, filter controls, labels, number format on labels, axis labels and so on. - chart settings: axes titles on/off, titles on/off, labels on / off,…

1. you're right - I thought along the lines of using them for calculations in data prep, but not MyCalulations. My main concern is a cleaner looking "data model" in the data elements tree without unnecessary key columns, duplicates etc. - this would also concern the upcoming multi-table data sets, right? Maybe it could…
-
I'd generally like to have an option to rename axes, measures etc. used in a visual, akin to the custom titles.
-
Do you want to show the data label? I tested this both in DV and an analysis and there are downward bars. Is there something I'm missing from your question?
-
There is already another idea concerning the enhancement of filters: https://cloudcustomerconnect.oracle.com/posts/22bb585802 and it seems like this is already planned for this year.

For me, this bugs out as soon as I do more than two or three clicks on it. Rows are empty, out of sync etc.
