Hi, Please can you re-upload the image. I have got exactly the same issue.

Hi Kavya, There could be several reasons: 1) May be there was another job which was running at 9:50am, and this one processed after first one finished. 2) Have you used any SQL's in event triggers in the data model? which will check for data availability 2) If there is re-try limit with interval in the schedule, this job…

Hi, You can just select any object (e.g report) in the location and click on properties to copy the location.

Hi Christian, Timestamp in the PROD version after the issue occured was from the last release. In the command lineout I have added manually for just our internal reference. Also as mentioned in my original request, RPD was not modified in online mode. When you say delta XML - Is it this location you are referring to -…

Hi Gianni, I checked the timestamp to ensure nothing has changed when the issue started occuring in the prod. To be very precise the issue started in the PROD at 8:47am on 27th Dec and I have downloaded the RPD around that sort of time. I checked the timestamp of the PROD rpd and it was haivng the older timstamp and hence…

Users don't need to perform the action every time when they login. Once they change the Type say to "Report" everytime when they access the Catalog folders they will have the Type filter set. Its persistent. BTW, I am not sure about the OBIEE 11g, we have the OBIEE 12c the latest patch and type filter is one time setting…

You have to play with the permission to hide the data model for the business users. However considering the number of reports it might be cumbersome, I am not sure whether you have data model for each report. If you just want to show the report to the user because the user are trying to click the DM by mistake, you can…

The best practice would be to keep the Data Model in the IT folder and allow the business to have only "Read, Traverse" permission and copy the BIP report in to the specific departmental folder which they will have access to.

For e.g. when the AD user is set as "sThomas" and if the OBIEE user logs in as "sthomas" it creates the profile for sthomas. So by setting the above config it helped in our environment to set the correct BI Application roles.

Hi, 1) Have you set the virtualize as true in EM: 2) It's worth checking "Principal Equals Case Insensitive" config 3) If AD server uses a different attribute for User Name than "cn" then you need to edit it, as well as AllUsersFilter and UserFromNameFilter. . In general, AD server uses “sAMAccountName” for…

After installing OBIEE 12.2.1.4 you might need to apply critical patches. Check the Oracle support and apply the most recent and recommended cumulative Critical Patch Update (CPU) patch. For the on-premises 12.2.1.4 release the patch is 28500593. Is it your on premise or cloud? Yes after upgrade you will have…

Best regards, Rajesh Dhanapal.

Hi, This is a bug in chrome please use IE and/or Firefox to delete the Agents. Bug 29740641 : OBIEE 12C - UNABLE TO RENAME/DELETE AGENTS IN CHROME VERSION 74.0.3729.131 Best regards, Rajesh Dhanapal.

Any suggestion or solution for the above query please?

Yes will do. Thank you very much. Also when I applied the critical patch Patch 28500593. The patch was applied to new Oracle Home and I could not see updated OBIEE version from the front end and Oracle have already mentioned in Doc ID 2289049.1. So going forward the patches will be applied to new oracle home and domain…

Hi Gianni, Thanks for your swift response. Because the Fusion middleware version was 12.2.1.3.0. I am totally with you since the first install was started with this directory structure, now its very difficult to move unless we plan to do fresh installation of OBIEE 12.2.1.4 But all OBIEE start and stop scripts should be…

Which DB user account are you using? Are you using the non-sys dba account e.g. FWM as specified in Oracle documentation? If so, please check whether there is data vault for this newly created db account with DBA's. That might help to solve the issue.

Hi Gianni, SDD doen't work I have tried this option. In our scenario both sites are residing in the same country but different sites. But when you copy the ../bidata folder as specified in Oracle Doc to both the site and after restarting both instances, recently started OBIEE instance throws the following error: OBIS…
