@Daniel Vornicu One idea is to create a calculated measure that filters based on your criteria (Regional and National), then use the two measure in the same horizontal bar vizualization. In this simple example, the two measure filters are: FILTER("PC0"."Revenue Metrics"."Revenue" Using "PC0"."Geography"."Region" =…

Hi Rama, Please update update your Display Name :-) Have you gone through the workflow for Migrate Oracle Analytics Cloud Using Snapshots ?

What about potentially using an overlay chart to display National vs. Regional? Bar Graphs https://blogs.oracle.com/analytics/post/how-to-create-a-rich-multilayer-visualization-in-oracle-analytics-cloud Other comments, welcomed.

@muneezaniaz To add, here is the documentation you need to update from OAS 5.9 to OAS 2024 (what is being referred to as 7.6 above). It is the most current update. Update from Oracle Business Intelligence 12c or earlier Oracle Analytics Server

Hi @Rajakumar Burra , If you add a Dashboard filter element that is bound with a parameter, it can work in 'Present' mode. Check if thisTutorial is helpful to meet your requirement. Other comments, welcomed.

Hi @Senthilkumar Subramanian Thanks for sharing your workaround. I think this may possibly be related to an internal bug (35908231) which is resolved in a future update release. If you need to pursue it further, then I suggest you open a Service Request.
-
@Senthilkumar Subramanian Apologies, when you said July 2024 update, my mind automatically went to the recently published OAS CPU/Bundle patches. I should have asked which Analytics product you were using. In future, always include since we have multiple. For OAC, when you login with your user account to /ui/dv, can you…

I just tested it, and it worked OK for me with July patching applied. 6823918;OAS STACK PATCH BUNDLE 7.6.0.0.240710 (Patch 36823847) 36814917;OAS BUNDLE PATCH 7.6.0.0.240708 To expand upon the note Doc ID 2928462.1, you would need to have the correct application role to run a DV workbook. It sounds from your post, that it…

Hi @Cindy Owings-Hutchison It sounds like you are proposing an Idea Lab request (enhancement). Please check this one. If it is what you are seeking, please up-vote and comment the Idea. If not, please file a new one. Since this is a discussion, and not an Idea, your request may be overlooked here.
-
Hi @User_DX76J , Please do update your display name in your profile, so the community knows with whom we are communicating with. DV is capable to rendering hierarchies; however, they need to be defined in a subject area (Semantic Model / RPD ) for the datasource, prior to building your workbook. Here is an example from a…

@Dhaval Parikh Stantec , the patch that @Ashish-Oracle, is the same one I was referring to. The abstract of the patch mentioned SuSE 15, you can ignore that if you have OL/RH 8. The patch is not including the the July 2024 stack patch bundle, but will be included in the next bundle patch release (October).
-
What is your Linux environment vendor and version? There is a patch for this.
-
Hi @User_56I8N, You may have had an "oops" when posting your abstract and question. If you are asking for help from the community, then please update the abstract and provide the details; otherwise, please close the thread.

@muneezaniaz - You cannot. A license provides you with access to software updates, patching, and support. You may also consider using Oracle Analytics Cloud which is available on a subscription basis, and updated more frequently than Oracle Analytics Server. If you have a question about your rights and obligations, please…
-
@muneezaniaz - see my comment above, the defect is platform agnostic, and specifically related to machine learning. Installing on Linux will not help, you need a patch.
-
Thanks @Gianni Ceresa, the defect I am referencing, and feel this is a match for, is platform agnostic. We will wait for the Service Request.
-
Oracle Analytics Server is an on-premise product, so you should have a license and a Customer Support Identifier (CSI) to open a service request on https://support.oracle.com/portal/
-
Please open a service request, reference this community post URL Post the SR # here, so that I can follow-up with your Support contact. We will need to get you a patch.

Hi @User_P21GF yes, that is the log I was looking for, I wanted to check if nQSErrors 46240,43224,43204 are present when running the DF. You may be encountering a known bug, and I wanted to confirm. Now that you have the obis.properties cleaned up, I am more confident that you are encountering the bug.
