"ORA-00942: table or view does not exist at OCI call" <- user can't see the table (if it exists) why are you connecting as SYSTEM? risky move ... SYS and SYSTEM should be for DBA only are you using fully qualified database object names "schema.object", depending on your settings, you might be trying to fetch data from…

Admin tool draws the picture then hangs (not responding)! Love it! Yes, there is a balance to be driven at. BMM = Business Model and Mapping. Enterprises can legitimately have multiple Business Models -- the hard thinking needs to be done to arrive at the true picture.
-
In extension to @Gianni Ceresa ... use the Subject areas to present different perspectives of the same model ... if there is a possibility of relating factual data across dimensions then keep the facts and dimensions in the same model.
-
how are you exporting from OTM and loading to OTBI (Cloud)? that's where your mapping is -- that's where you find out what is going where ...
-
Agreeing with Mr Berg ... this is a failure waiting to happen.

Perhaps this provides enough ingredient for you to build your own ... https://www.rittmanmead.com/blog/2014/03/obiee-dashboard-prompt-at-least-one-mandatory/

Keep in mind you are creating content for analysis NOT reporting ... if the columns have a different analysis intent then they should be kept separate. What differentiates a supplier with Harvest/FC and Arrival/Sales? Use that to drive the categories of suppliers and thus the visualizations that show conditionally when you…

If you are going to let user's manage your cache, why have cache? You need to have a very strict caching strategy

What have you tried?

How is the data stored? Does it support this use in it's natural form or do you need to move it and transform it to support the requirement? What do you mean by 'IN INSIGHT"?
-
Follow typical leading practices ... EXCEPT do your development & testing off production data and structures. Removes the guess-work and you aren't trying to use a limited set and a rapidly changing structure.
-
Why not do a lookup in the RPD? Assuming you are dealing on the same grain level of 'reference' and 'event_id' ...
-
Why doesn't Subject AREA 1 have a presentation table for the Date? Subject Areas are for the presentation of logically related elements ... EVERY subject area should have the date dimension reflected - it's about the most conformed dimension you can have.
-
Do you realize that none of us have the bandwidth to come up with solutions or pass on past experience only for you to reply that you've tried it ... rarely have I had a client accept the OOTB Headcount as presented.
-
This is a data management issue ... your front end shouldn't have to be unavailable WHILE you load data ... users should get frozen data while you are loading fresh. Trunc and reload of your production sets is a very bad thing to do.

What have you done to investigate?

Kindly suggest me the logic ... * build basic calendar table (fiscal, gregorian, etc) * build basic dates table keyed to calendar & date <- simple google searches reveal the simple logic needed for the foundation (modify to suit) * join fact tables to dates table * build logical hierarchies for year, month, week, day…

in the logical layer break it out Station = PA_ABC and Station Prefix = PA and Station Suffix = ABC and be done with it

force the prompt to be a searchable lookup and selection instead of free-form text ... if you have too many values, then you need additional restricting prompts to narrow down the scope of the final list example: if you have 600,00 customers maybe you need a City prompt to narrow the search down to 100,000 then you need an…

@Gianni Ceresa will be triggered!! LOL
