Thanks for your answers.. i just want to create odbc connection to oracle database to create dataset. so I can use it on BI publisher. I am having some issue that data columns dosn't come up in BI Publisher as regular user. It doesn't have to be odbc connection within DV, but i already have connection to Oracle database.…

Thank you.. To work around this issue, when you restore a snapshot taken from a different environment, you must upload the data associated with your file-based data sets to the target environment. so there's no automated solutions for it. right? or waiting for Oracle development teams to make it happen.?

Rvohra, @ did work. my fellow apex developer helped me out . So I had to click on dropdown list to get the attribute from the presentation layer. I had to put @{1}& on the url ——>weburl/f?p=103:31:::::P21_Test:@{1}& {1} becomes the attribute value for action link I click. Thank you for your help!! this is great!

Thanks Rvohra, i don't think @ worked. I tried #"test_value# but still not working. @ works when I used parameter from APEX to OAS, but OAS to APEX. any other suggestion?
