Please help me with Setting up the Email groups in Email, & how the backend part work.

After the Unsubscribe button clicks in Footer Section, how it was unsubscribed from Globally or Email groups

Please help me with this

Hi

It all depends which link you put in there, as to what the outcome would be. If you're using the OOTB options, then it will be a System Action. Here are the possibilities for unsubscribe links:

• Remove from Email Group: Allows the recipient to unsubscribe from the email group for the current email.
• Send to Subscription List: Sends the recipient to the Subscription Management Page where they can manage all their email group subscriptions as well as globally opt-in or opt-out of emails from your organization.
• Send to Subscription Page: Sends the recipient to a page that communicates their subscription status for the email group for the current email.
• Unsubscribe from All: Allows the recipient to globally unsubscribe from all emails.

If you go to the footer in Assets > Components Email Footer, and pop the cursor in the test for the link and then click for the link on the right (the chain symbol), you should be able to see which option has been selected in there.

There are 3 options for this:

• Remove from Email Group: Allows the recipient to unsubscribe from the email group for the current email.
• Send to Subscription List: Sends the recipient to the Subscription Management Page where they can manage all their email group subscriptions as well as globally opt-in or opt-out of emails from your organization.
• Unsubscribe from All: Allows the recipient to globally unsubscribe from all emails.

In your footer, you add the text you want. For example, click here to stop receiving emails of this type. Highlight the word 'here' and make it a link to the system action 'Remove from email group'.

If you want a global unsubscribe link, then highlight the part of the text for the click, and add a link to a system action using the 'Unsubscribe from All' system action
