File status after SFTP upload in CDO?

Hi ,

Need to understand what happens to the actual file (XL or csv) in SFTP folder when we select the "Remote file over sftp" option in CDO upload.

I understand that the data will be uploaded in the respective CDO and mapped according to the conditions. But, will the actual file still remain in the SFTP folder or Eloqua deletes it after the upload is completed?

Hello @User_NZ78Q

I don't think Eloqua provides an option for deleting files from remote server after completion of load. I would assume the original file would still remain on the SFTP server. That's how the regular Data Import tool works so the process should be the same when it comes to the Custom Data Objects.

I assume, I will have to figure a way out to delete the file after the upload using some external automation tools then.
