How to make sure that application task is approved before proceeding to the next task

Hi,

We have a scenario where we have a journey of 3 tasks. the 1st task is of type application task (absence). The absence is subject for approval.

How to make sure / prevent performer from completing this task before getting approved and then proceed to the next task?
