Performers are getting notification for Expired Journeys

Hi Team,

We have assigned the recurring journeys task i.e., Journeys will get assign every day. Also, when assigning, we are selecting the checkbox called 'Expire Previous Open Periods' as shown below.

So as per the setup, tomorrow once the new journeys got assigned the earlier assigned journey task will get expired. This is as expected.

But once the existing assigned journey task got expired, the performer is getting the 1000+ FYI notifications. Is there any way to stop the expiration FYI notification for this particular journey?

Kindly advise.
