Overriding coverage for employees who are retired or deceased

Summary:

Hi,

We have a requirement wherein when the employee is terminated the benefits should end as of event, however, if the employee is retired or deceased (Action reason when termination) then the coverage should end at the end of the month.

We do not want to Fast formula, so we tried to override the coverage end dates for this scenario. However, the elements does not reflect the coverage end date correctly if overriden in benefits.

Can anyone advise?
