Redwood - HR HelpDesk - Send Notification for 'New to InProgess' v/s 'Waiting to Inprogress'

Hello,

I have created below trigger to send notification whenever Status is changed to InProgress. This is correctly sending notification whenever there's is change in Status.

However, I want to restrict the notification for the below 2 scenarios based on 'user who performs the action' or 'current status' :
