Is there a way to create a journey for managers of new hires/pending workers rather than tasks?

I would like to create a journey that is assigned to the manager when they have a pending worker assigned to them as well as when the employee is hired. I am about to get tasks assigned to the manager, but they do not see a finished looking journey like our other journeys.
