Reinstatement Rules fails to reinstate FSA/HSA during OE
Summary:
During OE we restrict employees to update their Life Insurance coverage within the enrollment tool during OE. If they would like to change their coverage they need to submit a separate request to ensure we can update the coverage immediately vs. at the start of the new plan year. The team will enter in an Ad Hoc event to put in the new life insurance amount. This backs out OE.
At days end they run a variety of reports based on the Ad Hoc event to ensure we have the correct enrollment amounts to send to the vendor. When OE is reinstated the FSA/HSA amounts are not reinstated.
