"Request Fail" when configuring Application task Journeys

When creating a task in the Redwoods "Journeys Setup" tile, when trying to view the LOVs for an application task an error displays "Request Fail"

But when I navigate to Checklist Templates (Setup and Maintenance > Global Search > Checklist Templates) and create a task through the Responsive UI, it works as expected.

Why is that the case and how to fix it?
