How can a custom attribute be added at a contact point level?

For every contact point (Email/Phone Number, etc.) created for a Person within the Customer Data Management module, I wish to create a custom check box that can individually enabled/disabled for each value. However, I am unable to create such a custom field using the Application Composer within a sandbox, as there is no option to navigate to a child object.

Can someone please help? TIA!
