We have a use case involving the need to initiate a transaction via a journey task, and subsequently trigger the activation of a follow-up task upon completion of the first—ideally in an automated manner.

Scenario:

An employee currently on a temporary assignment needs to undergo a global transfer. As per the requirement, the transfer must be initiated from the base assignment, which is currently in a suspended state. The following journey task sequence is expected:

  • Journey Task 1: Initiate End Secondment – This task is triggered by the assignment admin and proceeds through the standard approval workflow.
