Impact in updating an existing customer profile class

We are requested to update the Minimum Statement Amount value of an existing customer profile class (majority of the customer are assigned this class) to a prevent sending of zero-dollar statements to customer. What are downstream impacts if we select the third option- apply changes to all profiles and version all existing profiles?
