Activation Criteria for Electronic Signature in Oracle Journeys

I have a requirement where a new hire must sign an arbitration agreement as a part of preboarding. They should not be able to access any other preboarding journey tasks unless they have signed the agreement. If they sign the agreement, the other journey tasks should become active. If they do not sign, the tasks should remain inaccessible.

Has anyone experienced a similar requirement? I'm seeing options around a fast formula for activation criteria but am not sure if this would be compatible with an e-signature journey task.
