Journey Task Assigned in Deferred Status Instead of Allocating After Delay

Hi Team,

In Journey, I have configured a Course with an Action and Event such that when an employee completes the course, a Journey task is assigned to the Line Manager after 30 days (using the delay duration).

The issue is:

  • Example: Today employee ABC completes the course → the task gets allocated to both the employee and the Line Manager in Deferred status.
  • After 30 days, it moves to Initiated status and is accessible by the Line Manager.
  • But if the Line Manager changes or the manager is terminated in the meantime, the checklist remains under the old manager’s Journey page and does not transfer to the new manager.
