How to close pending action items for Benefits Certification

Once the enrollments are completed by employees and the certification is submitted, it correctly routes for approval. After the approval, when I attempt to run the Manage Action Items process to close the action items, I am unable to do so. Additionally, when trying to close them manually, the Received Date field is required. Could you please advise how these action items can be closed for mass users.
