Transferring balances from one customer and customer
Summary:
As Oracle Fusion does not support native balance transfers between customers, the recommended workaround is to issue a credit memo to the original customer and create a corresponding invoice for the new customer. This approach ensures accurate subledger and GL tracking.
Alternatively, for non-auditable adjustments, a GL-level journal can be passed using AR clearing accounts, though this does not impact AR subledger balances.
If this is a recurring need, we propose exploring automation (e.g., via APIs or FBDI) to streamline the process and reduce manual effort.
