In the Next Gen agent landing page are we able to enable a search filter for Person/Worker number?

Summary:
I am working with a client who uses Person/ Worker numbers to identify staff, it is widely used and users know to use it when requesting support across HCM. My client is currently implementing HR HelpDesk and Case Management and would really like to be able to search SRs by the PPOC person number.

I've checked in Configure Adaptive Search and can't see this as field to switch on in search, I know we are able to search a PPOC by their Person Number in the Employee Summary page but wanted to see if there was another way to do this in the Agent UI.
