How do employees access Knowledge Base after enabling Redwood in Knowledge ?

We have redwood enabled for our Knowledge Implementation. And the employees are accessing the Knowledge articles using My help under Help desk. However, is there a way for employees to directly search for Knowledge articles and Knowledge base?

If yes, what accesses and privileges are required for it?
