How to retrigger task after AOR correction

Summary:
We have a journey that was assigned to 6000+ employees via HDL. This is a reimbursement journey, where the employee enters an amount they are claiming which then goes to the AOR to review preceding task and approve/reject.
After they were assigned, it was noticed that routing to the AOR's were not behaving correctly as they did in Dev.
We corrected this, however now the tasks are still not routing to the AOR since the journeys have already been assigned, nor can they view the preceding task or enter an approval amount for the 300+ employees that have completed the journey. This is only able to happen when a new journey is assigned.
