Benefit Options on Medical and Dental not taking eligibility into consideration
Summary: We have a requirement to exclude Temporary employees and <30 Regular employees from enrolling in the "Employee + Spouse", "Employee + Children" and "Employee + Family" options on their Medical, Dental and Vision plans.
Employees who should be excluded based on assignment type are still seeing these additional options when enrolling in Medical/Dental plans during Open Enrollment or other life events as of 1/1/2026.We have an Eligibility Profile called "Exclude Temp" that excludes these relevant Assignment categories and is attached at the option level on the Medical, Dental and Vision plans within our configuration. We are confident that the Exclude Temp eligibility profile is working correctly because we have it on other plans at the program level and the plans are being excluded from these assignment categories during enrollment.
