Automatically expire or Complete a Journey Task

Hope you’re all doing well!

We are designing a Journey where the employee will self-initiate the process and complete Task 1. Task 2 will then be routed to the Line Manager for approval. The requirement is that the employee should be able to initiate a new Journey even if the manager has not yet approved the previous one.

However, if the employee submits a new election while a previous one is still pending, we want the earlier Journey to be automatically completed or expired. This is to ensure the manager always approves the most recent submission and does not act on outdated ones.
