What is the impact of end-dating a customer account on historical data and reporting?
Summary:
As we have customers with multiple accounts, having those which are not active or used is becoming an issue. In test, we found that historical data for inactivated accounts does show, but we are hesitant to do so in production to avoid data loss. Also, if a customer is terminated, can they be re-enabled at some point if necessary? We would like to confirm the effects of using a date to terminate a customer's account and that if we end date/terminate a Customer account, will it impact any reporting or anything?
