The Firm Funded Life Plan is set up with coverage equal to 2 times salary, capped at 500,000 USD. An employee is enrolled with coverage of 500,000 USD, but at the employee’s request to avoid imputed income, the Benefits team manually overrides the coverage down to 60,000 USD. When a subsequent child birth life event is processed, the system recalculates and resets coverage back to 500,000 USD based on standard rules. How do we prevent the same?
