OCI Free Tier tenancy marked as INACTIVE, blocking PAYG upgrade and Default identity domain access
Hello,
I am an individual Oracle Cloud Free Tier user trying to upgrade my account
to a Pay-As-You-Go subscription.
However, I have discovered that my tenancy status is marked as INACTIVE,
even though:
- My user role is Admin
- My user status is Active
- My membership is Approved
- The user is marked as Default
Because the tenancy is INACTIVE:
- I cannot access the Default identity domain
- Password reset for the Default domain fails
- The Pay-As-You-Go upgrade option results in authorization errors
Oracle Cloud Support has confirmed that:
- Upgrades can only be initiated from the Default identity domain
- They cannot escalate or raise an SR for this issue due to Free Tier eligibility
