Is CDM License Required for Enabling EDQ Duplicate Check Configuration in Oracle Sales Cloud

Summary:

I am currently configuring duplicate checking functionality in Oracle Sales Cloud using Enterprise Data Quality (EDQ).

Below are the configurations that have been completed:

  • Enabled EDQ Batch Basic Match Server in the Manage Data Quality Server Configurations task within Setup and Maintenance.
  • Enabled matching for Person and Organization in the Manage Enterprise Data Quality Matching Configurations task.

This configuration is intended to support duplicate detection for the Accounts and Contacts objects.

My question is regarding licensing:

Does enabling and using EDQ-based duplicate checking through these configurations require an additional Customer Data Management (CDM) license, or is this capability available as part of the standard Oracle Sales Cloud functionality?
