Error: "The generated period can't exceed 3 years" when scheduling a Yearly Recurring Journey

Hi,

I am trying to configure a recurring journey allocation in Oracle HCM Journeys. My requirement is to have a journey assigned on the 1st of January every year for a specific group of employees. However, when I set the Number of Occurrences to 5 with a Yearly frequency, I receive the following error message:
"Period limit exceeded. The generated period can't exceed 3 years. Change the schedule and try again."My Current Configuration:

  • Recurrence Pattern: Yearly, every 1st of January
  • Start Date: 1/1/2027
  • Number of Occurrences: 5

Is there a standard way to schedule recurring journeys for longer than a 3-year window, or is the 3-year pre-generation limit a fixed system constraint? If it is a constraint, what are the best practices for maintaining these allocations once the initial 3-year period ends? Attached is a screenshot of my configuration and the error. Thank you for your help!
