Triggering a Sub-Journey Based on Dependency from the Main Journey in Oracle Journeys

in Journeys 1 comment

Summary:

Dear Team,

We would appreciate your support regarding a requirement in Oracle Journeys and the recommended technical approach to achieve this scenario.

Requirement:

We have a main journey containing a task that requires user input and completion. Based on the outcome of this task, we need to automatically trigger a separate sub-journey.

Expected Behavior:

  • The main journey task should pause or remain pending until the triggered sub-journey is fully completed.
  • Once the sub-journey is completed, the main journey should automatically resume and continue the remaining tasks/process flow.

We would like clarification on the following points:

  1. Is there any functionality available in Oracle Journeys to support this parent and sub-journey dependency scenario?

Howdy, Stranger!
