Does DCL fields inside picker layout for a DCL works in CX?

We have a requirement where custom object(A)under account is pointing to a related contact object(1:M).And that related contact object has 4 DCL fields.We want A field which is a DCL should show up contact fields as well as those 4 DCL fields. DCL field values are not visible at all in the picker drop down. Any suggestions on this?
