significance of the Simulate Life Event in 26C

Summary: when we simuate a life Event it is not recording any of the Waiting period etc. it does not have any coverage start date or Rate start Date etc. is it possible to add the Rate Start Date and Coverage STart Date etc to understand if we have the wiating period applied on new hire vs bridge the service when somebody rejoins within a specific period. Please advise.
