Changes in Termination date in Core HR affects Benefits

Summary: when a termination Life Event is detected in future or in the past. subsequently our customer is unable to make changes in Core HR. how do we handle these scenarios without human intervention from Benefits. we wanted to change the Termination date without benefits administrator or team to manualy void it or backout Termination life Event. please suggest.
