Hey @ShaunH, That's a standard behavior of many of NetSuite's canned reports. It shows the employee's supervisor/hierarchy. You can build a similar report via Saved Search, where you will have more flexibility on choosing what information to display and in what format.
-
Hey @Ted Stout, That’s a newer NetSuite security feature introduced in 25.2. NetSuite now checks passwords against known breach lists and requires a reset if a match is found. It doesn’t mean your account was hacked; it's just that specific password was included in a public leak. You can recommend using a…
-
Hey @brocha, Did you check the right items? Also, do you see the price change when you update it directly via UI?
-
Hey @User_2SP2C, You can create an Exempt Tax Rate Type in SuiteTax. If you split the amount into two lines, you should be able to set the line with 20% of the amount as exempt. SuiteTax can't do that automatically if the line amount isn't split.
-
Hey @User_7ANL6, Yes, you can make those updates via Freemarker. The Freemarker for ShipCentral BOL is stored in a custom XML file. Here is the related guide to help with the customization: https://system.netsuite.com/help/helpcenter/shared_resources/PDF/NetSuiteShipCentral.pdf…
-
Hey @Jayben Fung, The native scheduling method is easier to set up, but it has limitations, such as the inability to combine multiple reports into a single email. With SuiteScript, you will have much more flexibility.
-
Hey @User_8LZ5U, Do you have the "Enable Accounting Period Window" Accounting Preference enabled? If yes, what is the value set for the "Minimum Period Window Size"?
-
Is it possible that the new VRMA is for a new Location that doesn't have the phone number? Also, can you clear your browser cache and try again? If none of this works, please open a Support Case with NetSuite and ask them to investigate.
-
Hey @jitendrapratap, With the enabled preference, you can have Item Receipt Overages. The error you receive might be related to a customization. Do you have any custom fields, workflows, or scripts running on your Purchase Transactions?
-
Hey @Gina Kessler, That would have been a useful feature! Currently, NetSuite doesn't log if a User utilizes the Import function in the Authorize Commissions page.
-
For the Address screenshot, it appears you are entering it on the Transaction. Per the error message, it is missing on the "Location / Ship From" address, which can be entered via Setup → Company → Locations.
-
You would need to create the Customer Group via List → Relationships → Groups. It can be a fixed Custom Group that contains specific Customers. Or, it can be dynamic/Saved Search-based. With Bulk Mail Merge, you can choose the required Customer Group to send the Statements.

With the Classic/Legacy Tax engine, you can estimate and calculate Purchase Taxes with NetSuite editions such as Australia, Canada, Japan, or the UK. It won't work for the US. Per SuiteTax Guide, you can use it to calculate Use Tax / Purchase Tax for US Subsidiaries. You can also use its Tax Schedules to calculate non-US…
-
Did you test it? In my testing, I could safely disable it for the desired custom roles.
-
@Angela Bayliss 95%+ of the "Enhancements" can be resolved via workarounds, workflows, and customizations.
-
Hey @JMack Admin, Please share some screenshots (error message, phone entry screen, etc) to help with the troubleshooting. Thanks.
-
Does the custom role have the "Employees" permission, too?
-
Hey @JDov, Can you tell me which Subsidiary Country you are trying to estimate Purchase Taxes for? NetSuite offers various Tax Engines based on region and tax jurisdiction.
-
Hey @User_P7IOX, Did you try ODBC? If nothing works, you may need to do that via XML export.
-
Hey @User_70MIQ, You need to work with an experienced consultant to build the template in accordance with the bank's specifications. Once the bank validates the template, you can start using it to process the payments with them.
-
The OP was asking about "disabling the Asset ID field", which can be done to prevent the direct editing of the field.
-
This field can be disabled for specific users via workflow to disallow manual editing/overrides.
-
You probably did something wrong in the workflow. Here are some screenshots to help with this:
-
Hey @User_WA9MO, You are correct, typically we can do that via form. If it doesn't work, you can create a Workflow that sets the field's Display Type to Inline "Before Record Load".
-
Hey @Dave_Orchesis, It appears all those scripts/workflows that you mention run on Sales Order Save/Edit. A field update requires an edit to the record, so all related scripts must be re-run. The options are: Update the relevant scripts and workflows (if possible) to trigger only when specific Sales Order fields are…
-
Hey @Jayben Fung, The native "Document Statuses" aren't customizable. You can add custom statuses to accommodate your specific business requirements.
-
Hey @Kip Heinke, DocuSign did a good job with the NetSuite bundle, and it creates all the correct back-end links during installation. You shouldn't have any issues with the uninstall. Let me know if you come across any issues.
-
It might be a configuration issue or a system defect.
-
The "Specialized" roles are similar to the "Employee Center" role, and we can't add new permissions to them. Please check the following SuiteAnswers article, which might help: https://suiteanswers.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/1015849/loc/en_US

Yes, the filtering would only work if an item in the Saved Search is linked with a Bin that has the custom field value populated.
