TCC and JRE version

edited Dec 13, 2022 6:41AM in Taleo Enterprise 3 comments

Summary

Need to confirm TCC and JRE version compatibility

Content

TCC 14B is stated to be compatible with Java 1.6 only. The new version (15A) documentation does not mention any change, omitting this time to mention the JRE bundled

Java 1.6 is fairly old, and not supported any more by Oracle.

On a linux test server, we got an issue with TCC due to Java version

"Reason: com.taleo.integration.storage.StorageUnitException: An error occured while initiliazing the storage unit"

The article found (Doc ID 2005760.1)mention this is a bug of Java 1.6 and ask to upgrade to later version. But in face we had on this test environment a Java 1.7_u80 installed already
