Our performance document process flow is configured to have a first level approval. This first level approval was configured to be dynamic, i.e. based on the department head. We managed to do this by configuring department heads as having their own areas of responsibility.
The problem arises when the head of department is also the manager of the worker, which leads to the head of department evaluating the worker, and later on approving his/her own assessment. Is there a way to configure such that if the representative (head of department) is the same person as the manager, the performance document is automatically approved; else the head of the worker's department will need to approve.
