Interim solution to address ER 24926189 - PD TRANSFERRED TO NEW MANAGER AND THE NEW APPROVER CANNOT ACCESS IT, applies to Oracle Performance Management Cloud Release 11 or earlier release.

The Manage Performance Document data security privilege for Performance Management Line Manager Duty allows higher level managers within the same manager hierarchy to have access to my organization performance documents, whether via Search for My Team Performance Documents or via Related Links in approval notification.  This standard functionality does not support exception handling, in the case of the evaluation manager's manager (aka surrogate manager approver) is not in the same manager hierarchy of the worker.  This scenario becomes a challenge when the approver should validate the performance document before approval.  Shown here is an alternate configuration option to facilitate the
