Default Rejection Email to Candidate - track in history or contact log?

Is there a way to track when a default rejection email is sent to a candidate in the history log or contact log?Content
When dispositioning a candidate into a requisition-specific reason for rejection we have the option to check off a box to send a default "thanks but not thanks" email to the candidate. When these emails are sent it doesn't seem to track in the history log or the contact log. Is there a way to make that happen?
