Strip/Filter invalid/junk character from Taleo export via OOTB

Hi,

We have run into an issue where one of the downstream payroll interface fails due to an invalid character in address line. This address is sourced from Taleo and our assumption is that the invalid character is caused due to copy-paste by candidate.

We are looking to fix this issue at the source. We use OOTB and it doesn't seem that OOTB integration can strip out specific characters from the export. Has anyone experienced such issue ?

One of the workaround could be to export Address line content via OBI to proactively check for such issues everyday and then manually fix such data. But this issue can happen on any field that gets exported from Taleo and so the workaround becomes almost impossible to manage where we need to audit the whole of taleo data for specific invalid characters.

Howdy, Stranger!
