How does the recent participants search in the redesigned feedback page work

Hi

I have been reviewing the changes to the feedback pages in the performance template and overall they look fantastic, however I have one (hopefully) quick query.

What is behind the 'Recent' search criteria, when I click on this I return everyone I have asked feedback from (or rather those that are still active) over the last 5 years.

Is there a profile option to set a limit on this.
