Messages linked to Goal management

Can we add custom messages to goal management?

Hi,

we want to implement a very basic mid year review, which consists basically of a feedback meeting between manager and employee, in which they review the goal progress and add a comment. No evaluation etc.

My question is, can we add a message/notification to goal management that informs both that the mid year feedback meeting is due, like we have it in Performance with the performance period kick off?
