Can employee see managers comment without share performance document task

There is a "Share Performance Document" task for managers, which is used only to share performance document with employee so that he can see managers rating and comment. Is there any way employee can see managers comment and rating as soon as manager completes the "Manager Evaluation" task, so that "Share Performance Document" task is not required.
