The performance document assigned for the user's primary assignment. And then user create and completes the self evaluation and submit the performance document .After that due a global transfer another assignment created for the user and the previous assignment got inactive. Now there are two performance documents showing for the user under active and inactive assignments. Any way for the  performance calibration it takes the active assignment details. And user refuse to do the self evaluation again for the active assignment. 

Is there a way to handle this situation? How we can set one performance document for the user?
