Get relative incident information by status at previous/present instance of time



I am trying to build a report that shows incidents by status at a particular point of time relatively.
For example,
1. An incident is created on 20 Apr, 2019.
2. Incident Status changed to Waiting on 21 Apr, 2019.
3. Incident Status changed to Resolved on 22 Apr, 2019.

Now when I filter by date 21 Apr, 2019 and status Waiting, I would want to count/retrieve the above incident using transactions table. I tried but no success.

Any clues or other ideas how the above can be done. Appreciate your help.
