Is there a way to "hide" a performance document from the employee until it is shared?

Summary

Is there a way to "hide" a performance document from the employee until it is ready to be shared?

Content

Hello,

Problem Statement: Our company wants to use Anytime Performance Documents to document performance improvement for employees. However, we noticed that as soon as the manager creates an Anytime Document, this document immediately becomes visible to the employee (they do not have a step yet, but can see that the form has been created). We do not want the employees to see that a form has been created until the manager completes step "Shares Document with Employee". Has anyone figured out a way to hide or prevent the employee from viewing the form until it is ready? Please see attached screenshots.

Howdy, Stranger!
